Creative play, real art concepts, and space to make.
Mini Makers is The Mirror’s children’s art program, designed for young artists who love to explore, experiment, and create. Through hands-on classes, camps, and workshops, kids are introduced to real art concepts — color, texture, composition, storytelling, printmaking, and more — in a playful, supportive environment. Each offering is designed to feel thoughtful and engaging, with room for imagination, individuality, and creative confidence.

Winter intensive: The world through my eyes
December 28–30 | Ages 6–16 | 8:30 AM–12:30 PM
Hosted at Centre Pointe Performing Arts in Perry Hall, MD
This 3-day art intensive invites young artists to explore landscape through their own point of view. Inspired by the work of David Hockney, Claude Monet, and Henri Matisse, artists will experiment with color, light, shape, pattern, and perspective — discovering how the same world can look completely different depending on who is seeing it.
Each day combines an artist study, hands-on creative challenges, experimentation with materials and techniques, and a final project that gives each young artist the freedom to apply what they’ve learned in their own way.
