MINI MAKERS: KIDS’ ART CLASSES

Mini Makers is The Mirror’s children’s art program, designed for young artists who love to explore, experiment, and create. Through hands-on classes, camps, and workshops, kids are introduced to real art concepts — color, texture, composition, storytelling, printmaking, and more — in a playful, supportive environment. Each offering is designed to feel thoughtful and engaging, with room for imagination, individuality, and creative confidence.

Current Offerings:

August 10–13 | Ages 6–12 | 8:30 AM–12:30 PM

This 4-day camp invites young artists to explore four different ways of making art:

seeing like Picasso, feeling like Van Gogh, storytelling like Frida Kahlo, and layering like Robert Rauschenberg.

Each day includes an artist study, sketchbook exploration, a hands-on project, and a creative game that helps bring the lesson to life. Campers will work with paint, watercolor, oil pastel, gel printing, collage, and mixed media while creating a portfolio of original artwork to take home.
